Nestled in the heart of Chiang Rai, Si Biao Panich Bakery & Breakfast (ซเปยวพาณชย) is not just a café; it’s a delightful culinary experience that pays homage to the rich traditions of Thai breakfast. Located conveniently at 186/1-2 Thanalai, this charming spot beckons both locals and tourists alike with its inviting atmosphere and the tantalizing aroma of freshly prepared dishes.

The intimate cafe exudes a nostalgic vibe that blends traditional and contemporary aesthetics, making it the perfect setting for a leisurely meal. You'll find a warm welcome from the owners, whose loving attention to detail and kindness add to the cafe's special charm. As customer Janet Tseng notes, the atmosphere is delightful, filled with adorable decor and topped off by the grandparents who own the place, offering their friendly smiles and, as she puts it, “grandma speaks perfect English!!”

On the menu, the Isan Classic stands out—a breakfast masterpiece featuring two perfectly fried eggs crowned with slices of savory Chinese sausage, Vietnamese ham, and seasoned minced pork, accompanied by a side of fresh salad and toast for only THB 60.00. For those looking to spice things up, the Special Egg Dish mirrors its predecessor with an elevated twist that will surely titillate your taste buds. Each bite is an invitation to explore the harmonious blend of flavors that reflects the heritage and history of Thai cuisine.

Complement your meal with a cup of Masala Chai, where the fragrant blend of spices and fresh ginger spins a comforting tale in every sip. Whether you choose the classic hot or the refreshing iced version, you'll be enchanted by the complex layers of flavor. One satisfied customer, Vivek Chatrath, praises the masalatea offered, describing it as “the best kinds of masalatea I have ever had in my life.” With such strong recommendations, it’s clear that this café puts its heart into every cup.

It’s wise to arrive early or be prepared to wait, as this café is a beloved gem in the community. As Enrique Trheebilcock states, “Tasty breakfast worth the time waiting” reflects the dedication to quality and customer experience that Si Biao Panich embodies. For a delightful breakfast that leaves you satisfied and eager to return, make sure to add this café to your Chiang Rai itinerary—it’s a local treasure that deserves a spot on every food lover's map.

In conclusion, Si Biao Panich Bakery & Breakfast is not just about great food; it’s an experience filled with the warmth of family, rich flavors, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel at home. Whether you’re a local or a traveler, this café promises a delicious start to your day.

Tasty breakfast worth for the time waiting, if that’s the case when the place is crowded. However, the kindness of the owners is what makes it special. Don’t miss a breakfast here Í when you’re in Chiang Rai.

Beautiful and nostalgic restaurant, food was delicious. Came on a Monday, was not busy, staff were super nice and helpful. Will return to Chiang Rai for this!

Very popular breakfast shop, have to wait in queue if you come a bit later! The atmosphere is great, the grandpa and grandma are both cute and super nice (grandma speaks perfect English!!), and the deco makes it a shop that stands out from other local Thai restaurants. The food is, however, is bit pricy. (Our order was 470 baht for 2 people) The taste is decent but not wowing, the coffee comes with LOTS of foam The waitress that served the wrong food in the beginning, and couldn’t tell which one was latte or cappuccino when we asked, slightly unprofessional Overall it’s a nice place to visit, plenty of choice for breakfast but not the shops that I would come back again and again.

Basically a “heritage” restaurant here in chiang family; family owned and operated for decades! Amazing breakfast menu with fantastic selection of home baked goods and fresh dishes. If you’re doing a chiang Rai cafe crawl, sneak this place in!!!

I usually never go back to the same place another time unless the food is outstanding. Though Thai-Chinese owned, this place has the best kinds of masala-tea I have ever had in my life. I am not a tea-drinking person but the various masala-teas they make with their home-made masala is simply outstanding. If I could, I would have rated them 6/5 for their masala-teas and their ambience which reflects old world charm

Delicious breakfast and friendly service. Give 5 stars for the quality of food that I can feel with the fresh and high standard. Also the atmosphere likes Thai traditional decoration that can’t find somewhere nowadays. Highly recommend!!!
